In October, Pupil Governors led the whole school in a reflective , at St Charles Church. As part of the celebration, pupils wanted to do something for the community, so asked families for donations of fresh, and tinned food. Through the fantastic generosity, the Pupil Governors, working alongside the SVP and Food Bank, were able to make 38 food hampers for members of the church, and those living in the Spennymoor area, and send many bags and boxes of food to two local food banks.

The Governors would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and attended their celebration and are happy to know that they have been able to help and support others.
