As part of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, pupils from Year Six, led the school in a Remembrance service. We listened to prayers, and readings, held our own one minute silence and turned our thoughts to those who died for us, and those who are still protecting us today.

On Sunday, some our pupils, joined Miss Robinson, and were part of the a Remembrance Day parade in Spennymoor. Carrying our own wreath, they walked from the Town Hall to the memorial in the central of town, and laid the wreath on behalf of the school. It was a lovely way to pay our respects.
