As part of our topic this half term on World War 1 and 2, Year Six have created some fantastic pieces of homework, and class work linked to our theme.
Pupils have wrote prayers and poems, created poppies out of cardboard and paper, designed medals for our heroes and researched into their own family history. Some have even made games to play on the train for when children were evacuated out of the big cities.
While working with Durham University, we also created poems through using our feelings and emotions about what was happening during World War 1.
