In Autumn term, Year Six pupils learn about both the first, and second world wars. In the week leading up to Remembrance Day, pupils took part in a service around our memorial statue for the centenary, and went for a walk to Tudhoe Village, to the war memorial there. Prayers were read and a minute silence was taken.

In both places, they left handmade crosses, and painted stones, as a sign of respect for all those who have their lives to save ours.
